The Message Exchange Limited (TMEL) is a company limited by guarantee.  The three Market Associations – International Underwriting Association (IUA); London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA); and Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) – and the Society of Lloyd’s are equal participants in TMEL.

TMEL owns and operates the Exchange – the messaging hub that supports the sending and receiving of ACORD standard data messages between counterparties in the London insurance market.
